Chris Conowal Bio
Christopher W. Conowal, pc

Founding Partner

A North Georgia native, Chris lives in Dawsonville with his wife Teresa and their five sons. After graduating high school, Chris served in the United States Navy, serving overseas during Operation “Desert Storm.”  After two tours on active duty, Chris joined the United States Naval Reserve while he attended college.  During his academic career, however, Chris was activated and again deployed overseas to serve his country during Operation “Iraqi Freedom.” 

Chris provides representation to our clients in divorce (contested and uncontested), child custody, visitation, child support, alimony and spousal support; legitimation and paternity actions; post divorce issues; grandparent and third party custody/visitation; Juvenile Court matters; Probate Court matters such as wills, living wills, and guardianship; and criminal defense cases. Chris is a licensed and experienced mediator and arbitrator, and a Northeastern Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem.

Founding Partner

Joshua was born and raised in North Georgia. He currently lives in Braselton with his wife and four children. Joshua attends Christ Place Church and is active in the Men’s Ministry there. Joshua served in the United States Marine Corps in the aviation field for six years. He loves Braves’ baseball, UGA football, and coaching his children’s sports’ teams. He is an avid hunter and a proud member of the National Wildlife Turkey Federation and Ducks Unlimited. Joshua also proudly served on the Board of Directors for the Ninth District Housing Opportunity and Georgia Association of Counsel for Children.

Joshua represents clients in all manner of domestic relations litigation, including adoption; divorce; child custody, visitation, and child support; alimony and spousal support; paternity issues and legitimation of children; post-divorce issues; grandparent and third-party custody/visitation; child welfare and advocacy; and personal injury actions. Joshua is also a certified mediator and experienced Guardian Ad Litem.

Thomas is a Georgia native and lives in Canton with his wife and two daughters. When not practicing law, Mr. Womack spends his time playing golf.  Mr. Womack is consistently recognized by his peers as a remarkably terrible golfer.

Thomas represents clients in matters including bankruptcy, juvenile law, family law, divorce, custody, civil litigation, FDCPA, FCRA, and personal injury .
